Under the same sky – Gaza 360° - at ARIJ 2024

An interview-driven video documenting the presentation of the immersive film Under the Same Sky – Gaza 360° at the ARIJ Forum, bringing together the perspectives of the filmmakers and the emotional reactions of audience members after experiencing the film. The video features director Khalil Ashawi and co-director and creator Hadeel Arja, while highlighting the work of Gaza-based photojournalist and cinematographer Sami Sultan, who documented life on the ground using a 360-degree camera. Through conversations with the creators and personal reflections from the audience, the video explores the human impact of immersive storytelling and its ability to bring viewers closer to the realities faced by Palestinians and journalists in Gaza.
